I began my journey in the health and fitness industry back in early 2016 studying a Diploma in Personal Training at the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness. This enabled me to start as a Fitness Instructor at BodyTech and eventually become a Personal Trainer.
Prior to BodyTech I ran and operated a video production company. I was always keenly aware that to be able to keep up with the demands of my job I'd need to be physically fit. I witnessed my peers struggle with injuries and pain from the physical demands of their work, this troubled me. It was then that my interest in health and fitness over took my desire for filmmaking! Ever since, it's been my mission is to help as many people as possible build their bodies to be healthy and strong enough to handle anything life throws at them.
Why do you embrace HIT?
I like that I can work hard for a short period of time and get the results I want. My body is strong and healthy, and it doesn't take hours and hours at the gym to achieve.
What's your favourite workout/exercise to experience HIT?
I love HIT PT! There is nothing better than having a trainer pushing you 100% through your entire workout, especially through the exercises I struggle with (leg press!!!). Not only do I get a safe, effective and efficient workout, but also get to build a strong relationship with someone who knows my health and fitness goals.
How do you benefit from HIT in everyday life?
Short, sharp workouts mean I have more time to for my hobbies outside of work, as well as spending time with my family and friends. HIT training is effective and so much easier to incorporate into a busy lifestyle.Book Me
